Patchwork Christmas Tree Wall orders Hanging, Hand -Quilted Pine Tree, Country Christmas Mini-Quilt

Are you looking forward to bringing some country Christmas coziness into your home? This delightful quilted pine tree wall hanging is just the thing! This orders patchwork mini-quilt's main feature—the tree—was pieced at my sewing machine with squares cut from a pleasing mix of vintage and modern fabrics in many shades of green. In keeping with the scrappy style, the background is composed of squares in a variety of off-white, cream, and tone-on-tone, and other low-volume prints. I added a border of deep red tone-on-tone fabric and then quilted it by hand to a subtle cream-colored fabric with Mountain Mist Ultra-fine polyester batting in between. I hand-quilted the tree with straight diagonal lines and filled in the background with stars in several sizes. The quilt measures 21” x 22.5” and is bound with deep red suede-look fabric which I sewed by machine to the front and blind-stitched by hand on the back.

This mini-quilt does not currently include a sleeve for hanging (I understand many people are using Command Strips nowadays). But I would be glad to add a 1-1/2” strip of fabric (or wider if necessary) to the back, right below the binding. Just add a note to your order.

All of the fabrics have been pre-washed and machine-dried, but if this piece requires laundering, I would recommend hand washing in Woolite (or other mild detergent) and air-drying. I roll my quilted items in a towel to remove the excess water and then hang them over the towel bar to dry.l
