Large orders burgundy Ceramic Wall Flower, Handmade, high fired and glazed

This unique wallflower was made by me, each petal individually crafted and shaped to give it a natural, organic feel.

The material is grey ceramic clay, fired, glazed and refired. The center of the flower is turquoise tinted ceramic lace, surrounded by textured "buttons".

This flower measures roughly orders 26cm (~10.5") in diameter, and has a hole in the back to allow it to be used as a display piece, a table centerpiece or fruit bowl, or hung as a wall decoration. It is large enough to be an entrance statement piece, and would make a perfect house gift for someone who appreciates deep, rich colors. It is signed on the back by me.

The glazes I use are all food grade, and your flower may be used to serve nuts and candy, fruit or delicate cookies to go with your morning coffee. It may even be placed carefully (!!) in the dishwasher, or keep food warm in the oven.

You could even decide to place it in the garden among the shrubbery or near the entrance to your home , to give a bit of color in months when the garden is not at its best - Ceramic pieces are rarely damaged by differing weather conditions, and do very well in the outdoors.
