Orders Ilkley woods

A large scale Lino print . The idea has evolved from drawings on location and also additional information from photographs.

The design concentrates on the patterns and structure of the trees. It shows a path giving a sense of walking through the woods. It is of a location in Yorkshire where I regularly walk in all seasons.

The finished design is a result of both observation and memory.

The print is black with transparent black stencilling in the background.

The drawing is drafted onto the Lino then using different widths of cutting tools the design is cut into the surface.
Each print is card mounted, card backed and cellophane wrapped.
Three prints are available, the background on each print varies but the orders print is the same. A small edition of only 6.
