This piece was created in 2021 for a good friend who gave me feedback as I worked on the piece. Her name is Lakshmi and because I appreciated her input so much, I chose to name this piece after her. This is created from orders 5 different pieces which I drew or painted separately. Then I combined the scanned artwork digitally into this composition. Lakshmi's Dream is a celebration of the infinite complexity of the forests of the Pacific Northwest and their infinite beauty, above and below the ground.

This tapestry is made with 100% polyester, 50% is recycled poly. This makes the fabric durable and fade resistant and it can be hung outside. I use this fabric for a sign for my craft booth at open-air markets and festivals and was so happy with how durable it has been that I chose to use it for my tapestries. The edges are a rolled hem sewn by me in my studio.
