Antique Canonsburg Pottery Co. Bread Plates - Circa orders 1920 - Set of 4

These lovely mint green bread plates feature a delicate scrolling pattern along the borders. These are very early pieces from Canonsburg Pottery Co, a ceramic enterprise in Pennsylvania that spanned from the beginning of the 1900s through the 1970s. There is a bit of discoloration and some crazing of the glaze due to age. There are no chips or cracks present and these beautiful pieces of history are in very good vintage condition. Because they are so old, I would not recommend eating off of them orders as they may contain lead. Instead they would look great displayed as decor pieces, or perhaps holding pillar candles or bars of soap.
