It is a lovely vintage edition of William Makepeace Thackeray's beloved classic, Vanity Fair: A Novel Without a Hero.

Both books are in decent condition. Vol.1 is in much better condition than Vol.2, the outer cover has less signs of aging and it does not have half as many age spots as Vol.2. I have had a look through Vol.2 and none of the age spots are covering the writing (they are at the edges of the pages) so they would in no way hinder your reading experience.
