Hedeby Bag orders W/ Oak Handles, 2/2 Twill Wool And Linen Lining

Naturally colored & darkened wood finished with the Shou Sugi Ban technique and deeply treated with oils and waxes to naturally seal the wood.

Hedeby bag in Orange/black 2/2 twill with linen lining.

Bag measured at widest point including handles 9" tall and 7" wide // 23 cm tall and 18 cm wide.

It also comes with a round leather shoulder strap measuring 55" // 139cm.

The wood handle is 6.5 inches wide and made from solid Oak and heavily treated with with mineral oil.

This bag is is made from 100% wool and linen fabric, finished by hand as you can see from the small stitches around the edge. the lighter colored linen makes it easier to find what you're looking for in you bag.

These handles are based on Historical finds from Hedeby Germany, and were used for bags with currently 14 variations being found in hedeby. One very similar Sami bag from northern norway still remains intact giving us clues to the construction of these bags.
