Lumberjack Wood Carving orders (or other scene): choose style

After cutting out the blanks on a band saw I begin chipping and cutting away at the wood block until I find a a figure. The next step is to carve a lumberjack and create a scene. I use a slice of seasoned Black Walnut wood as a base for the carving. Then I paint the carving with many thin layers of acrylic paint in a wash. When finished I coat the carving with linseed oil to give it a soft antique finish. This is a great gift for anyone who enjoys hiking, camping, wood splitting and log felling. As you can see in the included photos I also carve other scenes. I have listed the other scenes as "styles". I have most of the other scenes in stock. Please contact me about your choice of scene to make sure it is in stock. If you have an idea for something different I can custom make a scene for you if you give me a few weeks or less to complete it. All scenes are $65.00 and include free shipping.
