On offer is this lovely antique loving cup. It's orders in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - notable areas of ware all over however where the base copper is showing 'bleeding' through; scuffs and scratches too commensurate with age; the pedestal base has also been solder repaired (please refer to images) but as shown all adding to the aged charm and character of the piece.

It's of traditional loving cup form, plain in design yet elegant in appearance. Both handles retain their original heart shape terminals.

The interior is re-markedly clean still - notable ware and scratches towards the base.

The base has been weighted.

Unmarked for a maker, Sheffield produced, circa early 19th century.

It measures 17cm (6 and 3/4 inches) handle to handle end, 15cm (6 inches) in total height and despite the condition issues raised is ready to be collected and enjoyed once again!
