Silk Bed Runner - shades of orders blue

This Bed Runner is a handmade item from a deconstructed vintage silk obi and new dupion silk. This is a unique item.

This obi silk brocade has been woven with shades of blue, silver and white.
The design is of decorated folding fans.
The backing silk and front edging is a pale blue dupion silk which works well with the obi silk. This silk has a noticable 'slub'.

The runner has been lined with a llight-weight padding to give the runner more body.

It is not recommended that this runner is washed either by hand or in a machine. When necessary, it should be dry-cleaned.
