Warmly White handwoven scarf by HeartWoven. I created this lovely full length scarf with the idea that it could act as a delightful addition to any wardrobe. It has been woven with a whimsical blend of cotton, wool (local Colorado!),flax, linen, rayon and poly blends. Unique handwoven scarf by HeartWoven; handwoven by artist and weaver, Mary Pat Ettinger in Colorado using a whimsical blend of threads, yarns and embellishments to create a subtle white coloured light weight scarf. Handwoven in varying patterns each scarf is totally one of a kind, and the threads and embellishments are lovingly chosen to create a delightful scarf that will orders make the wearer feel "oh so pretty!" Lightweight and lovely, the variations in pattern and texture are truly artistic and eye-catching.

Story behind HeartWoven Scarves: When I first started weaving my unique scarves and was in downtown Steamboat Springs looking for a venue, I literally had people stop me on the street as I was carrying them.... they are that lovely and appealing! My loom and I go anywhere.... out to the patio and garden on warm summer evenings, where I weave in the sunset and moonlight... on camping trips where I weave the colours of the wildflowers and brilliant blue skies... I have even woven on the Lost Coast of California with the salt water lapping at my toes, and jeweled starfish clinging to the tide pool rocks around me. I have woven under the ancient redwoods ... under the deeply silent canopy with its dappled shadows. I weave at my home in the shadow of the rugged San Juan mountains.... and under my fruit trees with their summer fruits ripening. I like to think that all my pleasant hours are woven into the scarf and that the wearer will be wrapped in my happy memories and thoughts.
