Large Jeremy Leach Studio orders Pottery Jug, Hand Thrown Glazed Pottery Jug

A stunning hand thrown pottery jug, made by Jeremy Leach at his Mathilda pottery. Featuring a semi translucent brown glaze, that exposes the marks in the clay beneath. Stamped M for Mathilda Pottery and Stamped JL. Jeremy set up Mathilda Pottery in Haytor, near Bovey Tracey in around 1998. He potted here and at Lowerdown Pottery. He closed the Mathilda Pottery in 2003 and took over the running of Lowerdown Pottery after the death of his father David Leach.

In good condition with no chips or cracks.
