A cute vintage sewing machine originally made for a child to learn on.

The Vulcan Senior is made from a deep red metal with a smart gold stripe.

It has a hand crank mechanism and an integral sewing table where the fabric rests.

Girls learned to sew and cook from a very orders young age so miniature sewing machines were a staple in most houses.

This example is in lovely condition with inevitable surface wear around the table.

I haven't tested it but I think it is fully functioning, the parts all move freely when tested.

A sweet little display piece for those of us that love anything haberdashery.
