Vintage 1900s, Haviland Limoges, Set of 2 Scalloped orders Edge, Crescent Porcelain Bone Dishes, Schleiger 29, Miniature Pink Roses, Gold Accents

The Haviland France back mark is one most often found and dates 1894-1931. This was the period during which most Haviland porcelain was sold. The rarely found patterns that were orders named and identified by Haviland appear with these back marks.

I have a pair of superior Vintage Early 1900s, Haviland Limoges, Scalloped Crescent Shaped Porcelain dishes. These Haviland Schleiger #29 is the pattern of hand-painted miniature pink roses with soft green leaves. There are gold gilt accents on the scalloped edges. Bottom marked Haviland France green underglaze and Haviland&Co. Limoges red underglaze.

Did you know that in the late 1800s/early 1900s, these dishes were used to hold discarded bones from the food people were eating?

Perfect, excellent condition. No chips, cracks, crazing, fading, or wear to the gilt.
