MACHINERY:
All of my Christian icons were created according to the traditional Eastern Orthodox religious canons of painting.
For gilding, I use only natural materials such as wood plank (linden), hesso (chalk earth and rabbit glue) and gold 23-23,75K. For paint, we use the traditional egg temperature - pigment and egg yolk - to obtain authentic and long-lasting treatment, which is coated with a protective lacquer. The back is covered with a stain. Polyvinyl acetate ends are more orders moderate in darker tone for a nice finish.

Most of my icons are custom made and I'm happy to create your own icon for you! If you have any questions or requests for your own icons, please let me know! It takes 1-4 weeks to order. Please keep this in mind if you are ordering a special occasion such as a birthday, wedding or holiday.

Note that all of my icons are completely hand-made and hand-painted, so colors and small details may be slightly different. They are exclusive.
Each icon is packed in two workshop boxes. This keeps the icons from shipping damage.

Care instructions:
While I do my best to make these icons resistant to all kinds of damage, please handle these delicate works with care! Do not place in direct sunlight or near a radiator.
Avoid droplets - it can chop off varnish and even paint!
You can wipe with a soft, dry cloth if needed.
Please stay away from water. Do not wash.
