Orders Antique Victorian scrapbook / decoupage page, double-sided, mounted - stunning example

A stunning example of a Victorian scrapbook page. Every inch of both pages is decorated with die-cut scraps laid out in a very pleasing design.

One side features orders a range of water animals - storks, swans, frogs, eels and - yes - a dinosaur.

The other side is slightly more random - people, flowers, large soldiers / guards and a beautiful Victorian hand with a valentine. It look like there might have been a story behind it?

The piece is mounted in two window-cut mounts so it could be displayed on either side. The mounts were added in the 1980s by my Aunt, Kitty, who collected and dealt in Victorian scraps and cards.

The scrapbook page and mounts are in stunning condition. Every scrap is intact and the colours are bright and sharp. The page itself has yellowed but is also in excellent vintage condition. The mounts are also good condition, no corner-bumping on the edges.
