Night Watchman orders

This dramatic image was created by cutting and weaving together pages from two calendars.

*This is not a print; it's a one-of-a-kind original.

*This is one of the first weaves orders I did so it has Matte Finish 'Magic' tape folded over the woven edges about 1/4". It's not obvious, and can be covered when framing.

Reused wall calendars are my primary material. The first stage of my creative process is searching through my collection of calendars for images to combine. I know I'm on to something when I feel a certain excitement rising within. Then I decide how to do the cutting, how much of each image should be woven, etc. Finally, I enjoy the process of making it work. Sheer creative pleasure!
