A mobcap would be somewhat like a shower cap shape to us, with ruffles that sat around the edge of a rounded structure. Think Bathing Beauties of the Gilded Age, and you'll get the picture. This little beauty is build around a wire construct, and is made of pink silk faille, trimmed with exquisite hand painted roses. Quite the find for the hat collector and historic re-enactor. One size fits all, as it doesn't go down on the head, but was designed to sit atop a victorian coiffure of hair.
