"Boxy Globe". Light Up Globe table lamp or accent lamp. World map is printed on Cavallini's Italian Florentine ivory-laid paper. I can customize this lamp by featuring a particular part of the globe. (Note: This is NOT a current map, as it shows the USSR, Persia, Rhodesia, etc.)

Note: The newest version of this lamp while still 12" high has only 2" of exposed leg, which allows me to add two vertical inches to the map.

The frame is handmade using 1/4" square oak doweling, finished with tung oil.

The individual electrical components - socket, wire, switch and plug - are UL approved. Lamp has a candelabra socket, which can be used with bulbs from a 4w nightlight bulb - to a 40w candelabra bulb. For different effects, you may use orders colored C7 Christmas bulbs or flicker flame bulbs. LED bulbs are also available with a candelabra base, but may produce a colder color temperature.
