Rhodochrosite pendant, orders

Intricate markings orders in tones of rose and gray mark this lovely Rhodochrosite stone 1 1/2" long. Strung on a gunmetal chain with rare 12mm Scapolite faceted stones. Soldered link chain is 24" long with lobster clasp. Rhodochrosite is in the carbonate group of minerals and derives its color from the mineral maganese. The stone was originally mined by the Incas in the 13th century. Origin of stone: Capillitas Mine Argentina
