1950s Black Suede Cocktail Heels Shoes by Hutchings

Ultra glamorous pumps with a straight cut vamp very popular in 55-56.
Fine suede trimmed with gold kid threaded like a ribbon. Slim stiletto heels tipped in metal and cut low at the sides due to the 'disappearing vamp'. Leather sole and lining.
Made by Hutchings for a shoe shop in Wolverhampton whose name I ​can't read.

Very good condition, a little mark on one heel near the tip.

Vintage shoe sizes can vary a lot, both from modern and contemporary sizes, depending where and when they were made and design details such as the shape of the toe and height of the heel.
There are also differences in modern comparison charts depending on which country you live in. I will always quote my estimate of a modern equivalent and list the length and width in inches so you can compare them to a pair that fits.

They are all wearable unless otherwise stated. I check that the soles and uppers are well glued, that any synthetic soles are flexible and there is a decent amount of heel tip left.
If they have been re-heeled and soled I will tell you. Any faults will be noted. I usually polish/clean them where needed.
I try to date them honestly. I won't tell you they're 30s if they're 50s, etc etc.
