Signed, along with a handwritten note on the first page from Joseph Quincy Adams (Related to two John Adams Presidents of the US). The note says, "Dear President Bizzell, This is the book we so often discussed in my office here. I hope that you will not be disappointed in it. With warmest regards, Cordially yours, Joseph Quincy Adams - orders Washington D.C. March, 1937"
The book was owned by the Bizzell Library & then later by the Oklahoma Baptist University Library
It has been written in the first few pages (including Mr. Adams' note). It does not have a dust jacket. The maroon colored with gold lettering hardcover book has a tight binding, very minor yellowing, no distinctive odors.
It measures 7-3/4" x 5-3/4".
