French Majolica Goose Tureen by Michel Caugant, Farm Cottage Kitchen Terrine and Rustic orders Table Decor

A vintage French majolica tureen created by Michel Caugant in the orders form of a goose. The lidded ceramic dish was once used to serve foie gras paté and was manufactured by the famous Michel Caugant company. It has been decorated in glaze and features fine details. The underside features the manufacturer's label.

DIMENSIONS:
9" Long x 7" High x 4.5" Wide.
(23 cm x 18 cm x 11,5 cm)

CONDITION:
The goose tureen is in very good condition with light wear to the glaze on the tail feathers and some surface marks to the base.
There are no chips or cracks.

CARE:
Hand wash.
Not for oven use.
