Rare Antique Asian Korean Apothecary Handcrafted 11 Drawer Herbal Medicine Drawer Cherry Wood Storage Box Jewelry Box. This is a gorgeous piece handcrafted measuring approx 13” by 12” by 6”. This is a very heavy piece made with real beautiful cherry wood. These were traditionally used for medicinal powders, minerals, roots, and herbs. This could be used as a jewelry box which most people do today with these boxes. The box is finished in a richly grained dark stained cherry wood and accented by etched brass fittings. Overall this is in good antique shape has all the brass hardware orders and fittings.
